Storms are harsh...it floods the cities...break things...
But this one kind of storm...wrecks the heart...
Even before, I hated the rain. The cold feeling was good, the rain itself was good. But I hate walking outside and get my shoes into a good mud soak. Yeah, I know I walk so carelessly but I still hate it.
Although with this hate, I still like rainy days because my memory during those days are good. I learned to walk slowly for the first time during the rainy season, run with someone I like under the same umbrella, play under the rain...these are just some.
Today, I shared this song because it was one of those "other" kind of storm. It was a storm at heart.
Yeah, it's a mellow one again. I just love this song so much I wanted to cover it.
Just like always, this song was sung by KRY-SD. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung, Sungmin and Donghae. These five people are the strongest vocals of SJ. Also, their voices really goes well together. KRY are known for their strong vocals while Sungmin and Donghae has sweet ones. It tickles me.
This song is about breaking up. One Love was about how you can't forget about the person you left, this one was about how you can't accept the end but tries to do so.
Storm opens up a male's emotion. Usually in movies or in books, the male ones are stronger emotionally. The focus was mainly on the female's feeling, how she was hurt or how hard it is to move on. So for me it was fresh to see a man's pain in this type of song.
It's not the usual, "You left me, please come back" song. Instead, it was more of a "Stop talking, I know and it's hard but I'll try." song.
Breaking up was not a one sided thing, emotions are poured out by the two people involved. As a girl I know how another girl will feel, the girl in this song was the usual girl. I don't know her reasons for breaking up but it seems like she was in the same pain as the man (or she was acting). On the other hand the man, even inside he was torn or "hit by a storm", he tried to be strong outside.
I don't know how men feel, this is just what I think. They try to be strong because they are men. Men are not supposed to be weak but because I'm not a man, it's good to see them break down once in a while. I read something once, I forgot what it was, but it said something like "It's okay to cry when your enemy is not looking."
Storm was like that. The guy as crying inside, but tries hard to stay on his feet. Though there wasn't any storm happening in reality, just imagine how it's like and that's how he felt inside.
The PIANO:
I loved the piano in the beginning, it reminded me of a music box (even if it doesn't sound like one). Just sharing, but I wanted to learn how to play the piano for so long. I try once in a while, somehow I got used to playing on both hands. But honestly, it feels like my mind is tearing into two. So I really love songs with piano background. (Is this the right term for it?) The piano was great, it was mellow and sweet but you can feel it.
I'll end it up to here. As usual, I'm still not good at reviewing the songs I like. I'll try harder next time! :D
