Super Show: The Best Show Ever!

What?

You don't know what "Super Show" means?

Is that some kind of a big show? Or is it made for Superman?

Well, let me tell you. You need to do a research. Because if you don't know what this show is, you're sooooooo outdated. Note: If you mean Superman in a different way -- you'll get this if you're an E.L.F. -- then yes of course! ^-^

INTRODUCTION TO SUPER SHOW:

Super Show is actually a concert. It's the title of the current generation's most powerful "Idol" Group not only in Korea but as well as in Asia, Europe and America (just insert the continent and country if you want Super Show :D). I'm not really sure about the others, but I believe that many people wanted to see this show so badly, they'll travel across the globe!

So who's concert is this?

You really don't know? Oh my gosh... *face palm*

It's no other than Super Junior!

You heard read that right. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, you only have two options right now. It's either you stop reading or go on and have some research :D (I'm biased I know ^^)

So, let's go on...

Super Show started in early 2008 to early 2009. Super Junior went to three different countries: South Korea, China and Thailand (placed in no particular order).

I was not yet an E.L.F. then. *if you read my first blog you'll know the story*

With the success of the first leg, it was then followed by Super Show 2 after the release of "Sorry, Sorry". Seven lucky countries got the chance to actually have the show! It started in late 2009 to early 2010.

It was also, I guess, the peak of Super Junior's career outside Korea. I know they were already famous overseas but their name got even bigger after the release of the unforgettable "Sorry, Sorry".

Who doesn't know how to dance Sorry, Sorry?!

Okay, back to the topic.

The concert was probably one of the most successful, if not the most, concerts done in the current decade. Correct me if I'm wrong, this is just based on my fangirl instincts :P

In late 2010 to mid 2011, the third sequel of this concert happened. Named as the Super Show 3, the concert was as successful as the previous ones. They traveled in nine countries across Asia, probably after having lots of love proposals from organizers.

Currently, the Super Show 4 has started last Novermber 19 and was planned to be a World Tour! We're still waiting for the next countries to be announced. And of course, I also believe that it will be successful.

*Note: Information in here were based on articles from Wikipedia and the others were based on, I guess, my experiences.

MY SUPER SHOW EXPERIENCE:

In case you do not know, I'm from the Philippines. So if you search around, you will know that Super Show has been done in our country twice. Sadly, I only got to watch one.

Why?

Well, basically, I was still a newbie in K-pop when it happened. Another was because I don't know who and where to ask or read. So when I knew about Super Show 2 happening in our country, it was already too late to save money.

Yes, the cost is not cheap. It's actually quite expensive for a student like me and is still expensive even if you're already working. But, let me tell you guys, if you haven't watched it yet...you've got to save up and buy those tickets because it will "Blow your mind" *kara Mr. Simple!*

Super Show is really the best. (And it was the first real and upscale concert I have watched in my entire life so I guess I have not right to say that? haha) I'm a fan, an E.L.F. so I am speaking for myself. In my opinion, right now, there's nothing that can beat my Super Show experience.

Come on, admit it. The stage was super cool, the lights were super awesome, the effects were super duper great, the sounds were super unbelievable...okay I've used SUPER way too much but it's the best way to describe it...AND!!! The performers and their performances were SUPER hot! They live up to their name. Super Junior.

I will have to give my greatest gratitude to the producer of Super Show in the Philippines: PULP Live Productions and their awesome producer Ms. Happe Sy...make that Mrs. Happee Sy-Go. You will never ever meet a producer like her. EVER!

Not only do we get to contact her personally through her Facebook page, she also ensures that the Philippines' E.L.F. are always updated. She answers questions about the show, clarifies issues and stuff. It gained her the trust of E.L.F. in the Philippines. And not to mention...she's so kind you can approach her. I know many people who have experienced meeting her and they only said good words about her. Take that!

Back to Super Show, I was really awed with everything. The performances were really astounding. Though there were language barriers, Super Junior never failed to interact with us. They were also really nice and understanding and mindful about the fans. The way they take the stage seems like they were born to be there.

Honestly, during the show I was so overwhelmed I was floating. After the show...I was crazy! The feeling was like...where should I compare it?...when you drank so much the night before, you'll get a hang-over in the morning! *I'm not a drinker though..haha!

How do I sum it up?

Hmmm...

Beautiful Stage - Check!
Awesome Lights and Sounds - Check!
Great Performance - Check!
Good Ambiance - Check!
Amazing Interaction with the fans - Check!
SUPER DUPER HOT GUYS on Stage - DOUBLE CHECK!!!

Let's just make it simple.

Admit it or not, Super Show is just the Best Show you could ever watch!

*Praying...

I hope there will be a Super Show in the Philippines...and I hope I could go. No matter how far in the back I would be, it's fine as long as I am there.

P.S.

You read it right, no matter where you are sitting or standing, you can feel the effect of the show! So if you have a Super Show in your country, watch it! You'll never regret!
